Ok, today....much better. Was sick with an ear infection and sinus infection. At work right now trying to figure out my research paper and power point presentation that are both due this week. Trying to get my thoughts organized and I need to finish Christmas shopping yet. See? There go my thoughts...got a super gift for my man and best friend. Sooo darn excited! Need to get little things yet and some cards, but that's it. Just don't have the funds for everyone this year and you know what? That's not what it's about anyway! So hope today finishes on a positive note with all my assignments completed! Can't wait!
Hi, Kim: I love the tropical picture you posted! It makes me want to go somewhere warm. I live in Wisconsin and I am sitting here watching it snow out my window and brrrrrrrrr.... would I ever love to be in the warm setting I am looking at on your blog!!! We have cut back on our expenses for xmas this year, too. We try to focus on getting together and having a fun time and making memories. I feel like people will hold that more dear to their heart and remember it far onger than the gifts they receive. I guess we receive gifts in many other ways than through material objects. I have come to learn that over the years and I am thankful that I have been able to find richness in my life through intangible things. I try to hold my family as tight as I can to my heart, yet giving them the freedom to explor their lives and themselves to find out who they are and what makes them happy. I am so thankful for technology and having the ability to keep in contact with family and friends each day! I absolutely love Facebook! I always feel connected.... (Did that sound like a commercial?)
